Will Danny Davis sign up for 'Twitter 101'?

Chicago-area lawmakers looking for some pointers on how better to Tweet may think about spending a semester in Lincoln Park's DePaul University.

The school announced Monday that their College of Communications would be offering a course on the microblogging site, believed to be the first of its kind in the country.

The course will be taught by a DePaul alumnus who works for the Chicago Tribune as a digital intern.

"Thousands share information about these stories and how they’re affected through Twitter every day, and there’s a need to sift through this data to find relevant information that provides story tips and additional context for these events," said the instructor, Craig Kanalley.

According to the House's website, DePaul is represented by Rep. Danny Davis (D-Ill.). Unfortunately, Davis is not on Twitter.
