Aynone who has been in a business meeting knows what Rep. Chellie Pingree (D-Maine) was talking about in her latest tweet.
Upon returning to Washington from recess, the freshman Democrat commented on the ubiquitous doughnut platters that sit in conference rooms in Congress and around the country. Pingree noted the spreads were something to which any American could relate, calling them the "universal food of meetings."
She tweeted Wednesday:
Back to work in Washington, endless meetings & starting the day with the universal food of meetings (and bad coffee) http://yfrog.com/0ye7oj
You would think members of Congress could get better coffee than what she described.
