DeLay: Dancing was 'so much fun!'

Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas) apparently had a ball during his debut on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" Monday night.

The ex-congressman Tweeted that he had "so much fun" dancing with his partner, Cheryl Burke:

Last night was so much fun! The adrenalin [sic] started pumping and the crowd got into it which was so exciting. And Cheryl was fantastic #dwts

DeLay received a rousing ovation from the crowd after his cha-cha to the classic rock tune "Wild Thing" and moved on in the competition as a member of the top third of contestants.
