Keep America Safe, a new foreign policy group founded by Liz Cheney, joined Twitter on Thursday.

The group says its mission is to maintain a vigilant foreign policy against terror and prevent the Obama administration from reversing policy initiatives developed under the Bush administration.

"The current administration too often seems uncertain, wishful, irresolute, and unwilling to stand up for America, our allies and our interests," their web page said.

The organization will tweet under the handle @KeepAmericaSafe and has 201 followers. The feed, started 14 hours ago, shares news links and a video it released to coincide with its founding.

Cheney, the daughter of staunch Obama critic and former Vice President Dick Cheney, Weekly Standard editor William Kristol, and Debra Burlingame sit on the board of directors. Burlingame is the sister of Charles Burlingame, the pilot of American Airlines flight 77 that al-Qaeda terrorists crashed into the Pentagon.
