McCain faces Sunday sports conundrum

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) must be torn.

The senator tweeted Sunday that he'll serve as Grand Marshall this afternoon at the NASCAR Sprint Cup race in Phoenix:

On my way to the Phoenix International Raceway to watch the NASCAR Race and serve as the Grand Marshal!

The race is set to begin at 2:30 EST on Sunday according to NASCAR, which creates a conundrum for McCain, a noted fan of the Arizona Cardinals.

Hopefully McCain will get a chance to glance at some TVs around the race track to check the score of the Cards game, as they face off against the Seattle Seahawks at 4:15 EST.
