Palin makes official return to Twitter

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) made her long-awaited return to Twitter on Wednesday night.

After promising to revive her Twitter page once her book tour had begun, Palin posted a couple of tweets after her opening-day book signing in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The former vice presidential nominee tweeted:

Michigan-thx 4 Going Rogue! Perfect tour kickoff w/Kid Rock tune praising Northern MI humming in backgrnd @ Barnes/Noble. Above expectations

Crossing border to Hoosier territory 4 book events tomrrw. Excited to meet Indiana folks who want to read about solutions to US challenges

Of note is that Palin posted the tweets from TwitterBerry, a program used to tweet from BlackBerrys, suggesting that Palin may be posting the tweets herself, and not through a staff intermediary.
