New site tracks government-run Twitter accounts

A new website tracks government-run Twitter accounts from around the country.

The site launched late last year called GovLive tweets says it tracks 68,031 tweets from 540 agencies.

The accounts are nearly all run by local governments.

The site reminds the Twitter Room of TweetCongress and Congressional140, two sites that aggregate and track tweets from members of congress and committees.
