Lawmakers tweet Easter greetings

Several lawmakers took to Twitter Sunday to celebrate the Easter holiday.

Sen. George LeMieux (R-Fla.), whose wife this week gave birth to their fourth child, tweeted:

He has risen! Happy Easter to all. Enjoying church with our new baby girl! Say a prayer for our troops and 1st responders. God bless.

Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) tweeted [with a few misplaced characters]:

Happy Easter!  Today we celebrate that the Lord is risen and is always with us!  I hope you and your families enjoy this special day.

Rep. Charlie Melancon (D-La.), Vitter's Senate opponent, tweeted:

Looking forward to spending Easter with my family.

Rep. Kendrick Meek (D-Fla.) tweeted:

Happy Easter to you and your family from Kendrick, Leslie, Lauren and Kendrick Jr. Today is a day for faith and family. Enjoy it.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) tweeted:

Happy Easter! We had a great morning, first Henry and Theo enjoyed hunting for Easter eggs, then we went to church.

Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) tweeted:
