Cornyn, NRSC tweet website debut

The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) and its chairman, Sen. John CornynJohn CornynGun-control supporters plan next steps versus NRA Senate to vote on two gun bills Senate Dems rip GOP on immigration ruling MORE (R-Texas), took to Twitter Tuesday afternoon to help spread the news of its new website.

The NRSC unveiled a redesigned website taking advantage of new media platforms like Twitter and Facebook, and integrated streaming video.

Helping to spread the word, Cornyn tweeted:

The official NRSC feed then chimed in:
The BRAND NEW is now propagating on our servers and should be live to everyone soon! #gop #nrsc #tcot

On the new website, the featured Senate race is from another Twitter user: Sen. John McCain.
