Former vice presidential candidate and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) became the latest politician to join Twitter, launching a feed late last night.

Palin tweeted after close of business yesterday:
This is my official Twitter feed - from here I'll provide updates on issues concerning Alaskans. Learn more about AK at www.alaska.gov.

The governor then followed up with two tweets, one setting the record straight on an Associated Press article, and another on the "Emmonak job fair."

Palin joins a number of other top political figures and presidential candidates on the microblogging website. Potential 2012 candidate and Minnesota Gov.
