UPDATE: Kristof gets the joke

The New York Times' Nicholas Kristof is either in on our earlier joke about Jack Bauer, or is facing some rough times.

After tweeting earlier today that fictional character Jack Bauer should be arrested for torture, Kristof followed up:

Help! Jack Bauer saw my tweet about him. He's pounding on my door! He's got a waterboard and a gleam in his eye.

Another UPDATE: It looks as though Jack might have gotten to Kristof. The Timesman tweets:

I love Jack Bauer. I take back what I said about arresting him. Just put down those instruments, Jack.
