Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) is giving President Obama credit for one thing: making better NCAA bracket picks than Gingrich.

Gingrich, who picked Louisville to win the tournament, checked in via Twitter hail Obama's superior picks.

Obama had picked North Carolina to win the tournament, which they did. The Tar Heels dispatched the Michigan State Spartans 89-72 in last night's national championship game.

Gingrich tweeted:
