Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.), who's been traveling Washington this week with her daughter who's on spring break, thought about helping out Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Colo.) at lunch.
"Lunch w/Lily in Sen dining [room]," McCaskill tweeted. "Sen. Bennett at large table surrounded by journalsts. Don't know [whether] to say congrats or try to save him."
Bennet, of course, is serving his first term in Congress after having been appointed to fill the Senate vacancy left by Interior Secretary Ken Salazar.
