CBS's Mark Knoller offers an interesting comparison between Bush and Obama. He tweets:
today's announcement that Obama to hold news conference next wednesday, is the most advance notice of a presidential newser in eight years.
during the Bush presidency, news conferences were most often announced just a couple of hours before the event.

Earlier today, Meghan McCain ripped Karl Rove and Dick Cheney. " My big criticism is just, you know, you had your eight years, go away," she said.
Erick Erickson of RedState.com thinks McCain should think twice before criticizing others. He tweeted:

Well, not exactly. But California Attorney General Jerry Brown just made some big news on his Twitter feed:
Filed lawsuit against Wells Fargo to recover $1.5B for defrauded investors. Link to official press release to come.
It should be noted that Brown is a likely gubernatorial candidate in 2010.

GOP strategist Mike Murphy became the latest Republican to say that Democrat Scott Murphy will hold on and win the special election against Republican Jim Tedisco in the upstate special election for Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand's (D) former House seat.
Murphy tweeted:
Lost my Kreskin cred in NY20. D's are gonna hold seat. I thought AB's would break R and elect Tedisco by a hair. How wrong I was.
