At least one member of the White House press corps is taken aback by the frenzy over the unveiling of the First Puppy, Bo.
ABC's Jake Tapper tweeted Tuesday:
when u see the shots of the media scrum filming this pooch u will be embarrassed for us. And the ghost Edward R Murrow will rise to haunt
There's no indication whether or not Tapper got in a word with colleagues Ana Marie Cox and Christina Bellantoni.

Air America's Ana Marie Cox teamed up with her Twitter buddy, Washington Times White House correspondent Christina Bellantoni, to do their best Woodward and Bernstein (in no particular order) upon the arrival of the new First Puppy, Bo.
Cox tweeted Tuesday:
@cbellantoni and I working out questions to shout at Bo, Sam-Donaldson-style: "Bo, Bo, DO YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF HYPOALLERGENIC?"
Bellantoni offered:
ZOMG I just had a thought - what if POTUS brings BOB BARKER for Bo debut!?!
When Bo finally made his debut on the South Lawn this afternoon, Cox snapped pictures.
She tweeted:
Sasha does the honors.
And then praised Malia Obama for bringing the dog over toward the press line:
Malia very considerate, brought Bo around to all the press.
Cox also tweeted about the media's reaction before posting a final picture of the whole First Family.
Everytime dog starts doing adorable puppy run, audible awww ripples through the press corps.
UPDATE: Bellantoni apparently asked the hypoallergenic question the two had joked about earlier.

ABC's Jake Tapper, a Twitter machine, is also a part-time comedian, it seems.
He tweeted Tuesday after news that scientists in the United Arab Emirates had cloned a camel:

RedState founder Erick Erickson voiced his frustration at D.C.'s Republicans on Tuesday, asking why they haven't been able to put together a better lineup for tomorrow's "Tea Party" protests.
Erickson tweeted:
Must admit that save for Grover and Brian Johnson, I'm a bit disappointed by the DC #teaparty line up. Alan Keyes?! WTF?
President Obama won 92.5 percent of Washington's vote in the 2008 presidential election. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) won just over 6.5 percent.

"Meet the Press" moderator David Gregory mourned the late Philadelphia Phillies broadcaster Harry Kalas, who died yesterday before the team's matchup against the Washington Nationals.
Gregory tweeted Tuesday:
The loss of Harry Kalas was a real blow. I thought the team reacted well. The moment of silence was a tasteful touch.
Kalas collapsed before yesterday's home opener for the Nats, where Gregory was serving as pregame master of ceremonies. Kalas was rushed to George Washington University hospital, but could not be resuscitated. The passing was noted before the start of the game in a moment of silence.
Kalas, a Hall of Fame broadcaster, was 73.
Gregory is a noted baseball fan, particularly of his hometown Los Angeles Dodgers.
Gregory also tweeted these notes on the Nats, first:
As for the Nats, yes I'm a fan. I grew up in LA so the Dodgers are my boys always, but I support my home team. Talked to Davey Lopes yday!
And then:
One more note on the NATS .. They were entertaining to watch. But you can't make three errors, walk in a run and hit two batters before RH.
