Republican new media strategist David All showed some love for the Twitter Room on his own feed today, tweeting:
Loving The Hill's Twitter Room: http://twitterroom.thehill.... Can't believe they beat CNN to the punch... I'm listed under "Pundits," obv.
For the record, The Twitter Room is the first blog dedicated entirely to covering the political Twitter scene. We appreciate David's readership as much as everyone else's (looking at you, FamousDC and Wonkette).
Update: Headline now properly spelled.

RedState founder Erick Erickson is spending his day the way many D.C. journalists are during this week's congressional recess.
Erickson tweeted Wednesday:
Before noon and talking about bourbons. Is that sad and pathetic or awesome. I'm thinking awesome.

Admiral Mike Mullen, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the military's top officer, is the latest public official to join Twitter.
Though the tweets appear to be written by Mullen's office and not the admiral himself, Mullen's joining of the microblogging site signals adaptation by top military brass to the increased use of the site.
Of course, Mullen is the top-ranking military official on Twitter simply by virtue of his position, but is one of only a few top military members known to be tweeting.
Interestingly, Mullen, whose career path led him through the U.S. Navy, follows @NavyNews on Twitter.

Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo.) made his way to Iraq during the congressional recess, revealing via Twitter that he'd made the junket.
Polis tweeted Wednesday:
Safely out of Iraq, posted my first blog on the trip: http://tinyurl.com/dnykqm more blogs coming soon!
He linked to a blog he did for Daily Kos, in which Polis claimed improvement in the situation in the country, and a "definite change in mindset" for soldiers who now see an end to the conflict in sight.
Polis also followed up shortly with a tweet wishing followers a Happy Passover.

Joe Scarborough, host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe," made a splash in his return to tweeting on-air, asking pointed questions of fellow Republicans.
Scarborough asked why former Sen. Norm Coleman (R) hasn't given up his quest to hang onto his Senate seat, as well as why GOP-ers can't admit Obama had a successful trip overseas.
Scarborough tweeted:
Question for Republicans: Isn't it time for Norm Coleman to quit in Minnesota? Enough. He is not going to catch up.
And followed up:
Another question for Republicans: Though we are all upset with his economic plans, can we not admit he had a good trip overseas?
Scarborough's tweets have been on hiatus since the end of March, perhaps because he was finishing his book (a process which, he tweeted, ended recently and "almost killed" him).

Rep. Chellie Pingree (D-ME) is back in Maine for recess, and, according to her most recent tweet, dining out with her staff:
Staff gathering at Susan's Fish-N-Chips, in Portland, great fried clams. Cant beat Maine Food! http://twitpic.com/2z33e
More notable, however, is Pingree's endorsement of a certain midwestern lager. Here's her follow-up tweet, with the accompanying picture:
This is actually my favorite beer with clams..please dont tell any of our great Maine brewers (at least its union)! http://twitpic.com/2z3hm

Conservative pundit Michelle Malkin isn't one to take insults lying down.
Rather, she'll correct readers' mistakes with the best of them.
She tweets Tuesday:
Just corrected a hatemailer's msg. He wrote: "your a lying slut who is headed toward HELL." Get your contractions right, ppl! #tcot
