Which book is on your nightstand right now?
What to Expect in the First Year. My baby boy is 6 months old.

What magazines do you regularly read?
Newsweek.

What’s your guilty-pleasure read?
People. In the airport.

Which books have most influenced your political philosophy?
The Bible, just because that book influences how I live my life.

What book about Washington should every member read?

A good book on sights to visit. We should never forget the wonderful history that’s come before us.

What author do you often reference?
I like George Will’s columns. He’s smart and conservative.
