• BANKING. Home Depot hired Katherine Anne Childress to lobby on banking matters, lobbying records show.

• CLIMATE CHANGE. C&M Capitolink is lobbying for Dow Chemical Company on climate change legislation. Stephanie Daigle, a former associate administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency, is lobbying for Dow.

• DEFENSE. King & Spalding is representing Boeing on “future combat systems and missile defense issues,” according to Senate lobbying records. John Howell; Archibald Galloway, former senior defense policy adviser for Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.); and Lauren Donoghue, a press assistant for ex-Rep. Jeb Bradley (R-N.H.), are lobbying for Boeing.

• ELECTRONICS. The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) hired Baker Botts to lobby on issues relating to “the use and handling of hazardous substances in electroindustry products,” according to Senate lobbying registration. Baker Botts’s J. Barton Seitz and Daniel Steinway are lobbying for NEMA.

• ENERGY. Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld is representing Woodside Natural Gas, based in Santa Monica, Calif. The firm is conducting “federal outreach and advocacy in support of federal licensing approval for proposed offshore liquefied natural gas import facility,” according to Senate lobbying records.

• HISTORIC PRESERVATION. Dutko Worldwide is lobbying for the Preserve America Coalition to “encourage federal support for preservation initiatives,” Senate lobbying records show. Dutko’s Craig Pattee is managing the account.

• RENEWABLES. Pyle Consulting is lobbying for the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association on renewable fuels and other energy-related issues in Congress, according to Senate lobbying records.

• TAXES. Donald Kaniewski is lobbying for the Miller Brewing Company on excise tax issues, according to Senate records.The Coalition for the Protection of Interstate Commerce hired John O’Rourke to lobby on “issues related to the state taxation of business income,” according to registration records.

• TRANSPORTATION. Chapman Capitol Consulting is lobbying for the American Trucking Associations on a series of transportation-related issues, lobbying records show.
