• APPROPRIATIONS. Capitol Hill Consulting Group is lobbying for the Search Group, a nonprofit that helps states track public safety information. The group is seeking federal appropriations.
• DEFENSE. Washington Group is lobbying for Oceaneering International on defense appropriations and authorization bills, according to registration records.
• ENVIRONMENT. Hogan & Hartson is lobbying for the Clorox Company. The firm is tracking environmental regulations that may affect the company, according to lobbying records.
• HEALTHCARE. Drinker Biddle & Reath is lobbying for the Alta Bates Foundation, a nonprofit health system, according to lobbying records. Lobbyists Jodie Curtis, Ilisa Paul and Jim Twaddell are working to secure appropriations for the foundation.
The Association for Home and Hospice Care of North Carolina hired Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice to lobby on home healthcare issues, lobbying records show.
• TAXES. The C2Group is lobbying for Brown-Forman Corp. on tax matters, lobbying records show. The lobbying team includes Hunter Bates, a former chief of staff to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
