• CIVIL RIGHTS. Levick Strategic Communications is lobbying on behalf of the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans on civil rights issues. Frederick Jones, previously of the State Department and National Security Council, will be representing the alliance.

The Raben Group is lobbying for the South Asian American Forum Action Fund on issues relating to immigration, foreign policy and civil rights.

• COPYRIGHT. Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld is lobbying for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Global Intellectual Property Center on issues relating to intellectual property protection and compulsory licensing of technology, according to records filed with the Senate. Sean O'Shea, former project director and legislative assistant to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), will represent the Chamber.

• DEFENSE. Duane Morris Government Affairs is lobbying for Ablaze Development . The firm is seeking funding for an at-sea naval disaster recovery research project.

• ENVIRONMENT. Bay Bridge Strategies is lobbying for the Environmental Defense Fund on issues relating to climate change and transportation.

• FOOD. The National Yogurt Association is lobbying on identity standards for yogurt, according to records filed with the Senate.

• LAW. Chamworks is lobbying to win a pardon for Deborah Griffin. Griffin, a former Pennsylvania judge, was removed from the bench after pleading guilty to credit card fraud several decades ago.

• TAX. Kerkhoven Consulting is lobbying for American Aerogel on the issue of tax credits.
Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal is lobbying for Miller Coors on issues relating to tax policy.

• TRADE. Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld is lobbying for Paramount Citrus Association on the importation of lemons from Mexico. David Carlin, previously an assistant secretary for congressional relations at the Agriculture Department, will be representing the association.
