• Elizabeth Pika has joined the Advanced Medical Technology Association as vice president of government affairs. She was previously legislative director for Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) and legislative fellow to Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-Ark.).

• Katie Whelan has joined Patton Boggs as a senior policy adviser. Whelan had previously served as senior adviser to California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) and executive director of the Democratic Governors Association.

• Alexandrine De Bianchi and Michael Platt Jr. have joined the Recording Industry Association of America as directors of federal government relations. De Bianchi, who most recently served as senior legislative assistant to Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.), had also worked for Dittbemer Associates and the Federal Communications Commission. Platt previously worked for TechNet and was a legislative director to Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.).

• Estus Whitfield and Bill Hartwig have joined Dawson & Associates as senior advisers. Previously, Whitfield served as chief environmental adviser to four Florida governors. Hartwig was formerly chief of the National Wildlife Refuge System at the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.

• Stephen Renna will join the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers as president. He was previously senior vice president and counsel for the Real Estate Roundtable.

• Christie Boutte has joined the National Association of Chain Drug Stores as director of policy and programs. Boutte formerly worked for CIGNA HealthCare and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

• Deborah Dinkelacker has joined the Medicare Rights Center as chief operating officer. Dinkelacker was previously president of VolunteerMatch .

• Alex Mullineaux was promoted to director of public affairs and political action for the Federation of American Hospitals . Previously, Mullineaux worked as a political action committee associate with 21st Century Democrats and a lobbyist and governmental consultant at Pittman Law Group .
