• The president has nominated I. Charles McCullough lll to be the Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s Intelligence Community inspector general. McCullough is the deputy inspector general of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Prior to that, he worked as National Security Agency/Central Security Service’s Office of the Inspector General’s assistant inspector general for investigations. He has held multiple positions at the FBI.

• President Obama nominated Ernest Mitchell Jr. to be the administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency United States Fire Administration. Mitchell served as president of the International Association of Fire Chiefs and is a retired fire chief. Earlier in his career, Mitchell was the California Fire Department’s City of Pasadena fire chief and assistant director of disaster emergency services and fire services and deputy city manager in Monrovia, Calif.


• The president has nominated Nancy Ware to be director of the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency for the District of Columbia. Ware works currently as a management analyst for the District of Columbia Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency. Her additional experience includes working as District of Columbia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council executive director and as Office of Justice Programs’ Bureau of Justice Assistance director of program development.


• President Obama nominated Gregory Woods to be Energy Department general counsel. Woods serves now as the Transportation Department as deputy general counsel. Previously, he worked at Debevoise & Plimpton as an associate and later partner and Justice Department trial attorney. He currently is on the Union Settlement Association board in New York.
