Under Contract
• The Veterans Affairs Department awarded HP Enterprise Services the role of prime contractor for a technology contract worth up to $12 billion, the company announced Monday. The VA Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology (T4) program contract, which is a “multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract,” starts with a “five-year base period.” The contract will “support the agency’s enterprise-wide modernization to enable improved access to benefits and healthcare for veterans.” HP will be one of several contractors to compete for individual task orders “to provide advanced technology solutions across multiple functional areas.”
• eGlobalTech won a blanket purchase agreement from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) worth $40 million, the company announced Monday in a press release. The “information technology support services contract,” which was awarded to eGlobalTech and another organization, “will be providing USAID with services such as information technology strategic planning, enterprise architecture, financial management system support and program management support services.” The contract includes one base year and four option years.
