• APPROPRIATIONS. Gray Global Strategies Inc. has been hired by the city of Philadelphia to lobby on “issues related to infrastructure and economic development,” according to lobbying disclosure records. Former Rep. William Gray (D-Pa.) is lobbying for the city.

 

McAllister & Quinn has been hired by Yardney Technical Products, a Pawcatuck, Conn., battery system manufacturer, to lobby on “funding opportunities; research and development,” according to lobbying disclosure records. Chris Fish, a former chief of staff for Rep. John Sweeney (R-N.Y.), is lobbying for the company.

 

Alcalde & Fay has been hired by the city of Apopka, Fla., for “seeking federal funding for the development of an airport,” according to lobbying disclosure records. James Davenport, once a legislative aide to then-Rep. Gerald Solomon (R-N.Y.), and Maurice Kurland, a former legislative aide to Rep. Silvestre Reyes (D-Texas), are lobbying for the city.


•ENERGY. Prime Policy Group has been hired by the Marine Well Containment Co., a deepwater well containment response nonprofit company based in Houston, to lobby on “legal and regulatory issues related to emergency response,” according to lobbying disclosure records. R. Scott Pastrick, former treasurer for the Democratic National Committee, and Gabe Rozsa, once the House Science Committee’s Republican environmental counsel, are lobbying for the company.

 

The Glover Park Group has been hired by Transmission Developers Inc. to provide “lobbying related to transmission line permitting,” according to lobbying disclosure records. Catharine Ransom, a former senior climate and environmental adviser for Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.), and Joel Johnson, once a senior Clinton White House aide, are lobbying for the company.


• FINANCIAL SERVICES. Olson Advocacy has been hired by the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association to lobby on “issues affecting reverse mortgages,” according to lobbying disclosure records. 


• TRANSPORTATION. Corley Consulting has been hired by the city of Fort Worth, Texas, to lobby on “transportation funding, military and defense funding, urban development block grant funding, local control issues, law enforcement development center issues, urban renewal issues,” according to lobbying disclosure records. Scott Corley, a former senior legislative assistant to ex-Sen. George Allen (R-Va.), is lobbying for the city.
