• Dolly A. Judge has joined Hill & Knowlton as senior vice president and director of healthcare policy. She was most recently at Pfizer, where she was vice president of federal government relations. Judge also worked at Hoffmann-LaRoche and Abbott as well as having trade association experience and lobbying for both the American College of Physicians and the Health Industry Manufacturers Association.
• Matt Jacob has joined Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington as its new communications director. He served as deputy communications director at People for the American Way and also worked for the American Federation of Teachers. Jacob replaces Naomi Seligman, who is the new director of public affairs for Consumer Watchdog, based in Los Angeles.
• Jeffrey J. Kimbell and Associates has hired Tamar Thompson and Lindsay Shore. Thompson will be vice president of reimbursement and health policy and Shore director of government affairs and policy. Thompson has worked as a medical coding specialist and helped shape provisions for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regarding radiopharmaceutical drugs. Shore was a health policy adviser to House Republican Whip Eric Cantor (Va.) and advised him on policies considered by the House Ways and Means Committee. She also worked for former Sen. Mel Martinez (R-Fla.).
• Adam Geller is joining Clark Lytle & Geduldig as an associate partner. He was New Jersey Gov.-elect Chris Christie’s (R) pollster and the CEO of the Republican polling firm National Research Inc. Geller has polled for a number of GOP candidates in the Senate and the House and has worked at several consulting firms, including Jamestown Associates and Public Opinion Strategies.
• Outreach Strategies has been formed by Tad Segal and Joe Clayton. The new public relations firm will represent the U.S. Climate Action Partnership as well as the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Clayton was CEO of Widmeyer Communications, did PR for American Student Assistance and started his career as an aide to former Sen. Alan Dixon (D-Ill.).
