Lobbying Contracts

• DEFENSE. The Livingston Group has been hired by the California Motorized Recreation Council to lobby on “Marine Corps land acquisition."

• DEFENSE. The Grossman Group has been hired by MD Helicopters Inc., a Mesa, Ariz.-based helicopter manufacturer, to lobby on “issues affecting U.S. and foreign military procurement of helicopters,” according to lobbying disclosure records.

• DEFENSE. Park Strategies has been hired by Central New York Defense Alliance, a trade group based in Rome, N.Y., to lobby on “economic development opportunities for defense-oriented businesses and suppliers,” according to lobbying disclosure records.

•DEFENSE. Baldwin Consulting Inc. has been hired by General Dynamics to lobby on “wheeled and tracked vehicle fleet and C4 systems,” according to lobbying disclosure records.

• DEFENSE. American Defense International Inc. has been hired by Agilis Management Inc., an engineering-services company, for “meetings with officials regarding turbine engine design and development services,” according to lobbying disclosure records. 

ENERGY. Van Ness Feldman has been hired by Wilmar Oleo North America, a biofuels marketer and distributor, to lobby on “eligibility of palm oil-based biofuels under the Renewable Fuels Standard program."

• AGRICULTURE. Olsson Frank Weeda Terman Matz has been hired by Nutriset, a French-based maker of food products, to “advise, consult and advocate on issues related to federal policies, programs, initiatives and regulatory matters which could impact the production of Nutriset products,” according to lobbying disclosure records. Former Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (D-S.D.) is lobbying for the company.

• AGRICULTURE. K&L Gates has been hired by AeroFarms to lobby on “federal assistance to build commercial-scale greenhouses,” according to lobbying disclosure records.

• DEFENSE. Mercury/Clark & Weinstock has been hired by Chromalloy Gas Turbines to lobby on “military aerospace issues,” according to lobbying disclosure records. 

• AGRICULTURE. Olsson Frank Weeda Terman Matz has been hired by the National Geospatial Coalition to “consult and advocate regarding funding and use of geospatial imaging in federal agriculture programs,” according to lobbying disclosure records.
