Capitol Consulting Group has been hired by iWalk, a Bedford, Mass., prosthetic developer and manufacturer, to lobby on “military and veteran health issues,” according to lobbying disclosure records. Lynn Henselman, a former professional staff member for the House Armed Services Committee, is lobbying for the company.
• FINANCIAL SERVICES. Daly Consulting Group has been hired by Goldman Sachs to lobby on “implementation of P.L. 111-203, Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, market structure, and other issues related to the financial services industry,” according to lobbying disclosure records. Justin Daly, a former official at the Securities and Exchange Commission, is lobbying for the bank.
Williams and Jensen has been hired by Kettering Medical Center, based in Beavercreek, Ohio, to lobby on “funding and grant opportunities for proton therapy facility and research,” according to lobbying disclosure records. Jenny DiJames, former legislative director for ex-Rep. Bud Cramer (D-Ala.), and Michael Beer, former legislative aide to ex-Rep. Dave Hobson (R-Ohio), are lobbying for the center.
• TECHNOLOGY. Franklin Square Group has been hired by Salesforce.com to lobby on “policy issues related to cloud, government IT procurement and cybersecurity,” according to lobbying disclosure records. Matt Tanielian, once counsel to former Sen. Robert Torricelli (D-N.J.), and Josh Ackil, a former Clinton White House aide, are lobbying for the company.
• TRANSPORTATION. LaRocco & Associates Inc. has been hired by L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. to lobby on “commercial aircraft energy efficiency and small engine fuel options,” according to lobbying disclosure records. Former Rep. Larry LaRocco (D-Idaho) is lobbying for the company.
