• Cindy Jimenez has joined United Technologies Corp. as director of government relations. She joins the company from her position at TechAmerica (formerly ITAA).

• Jennifer Cervantes has joined the Florida Sugar Cane League, Rio Grande Valley Sugar Growers and Hawaii Sugar Cane Growers as legislative director. Cervantes is a former deputy chief of staff at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, where she worked on agriculture policy and implementation of management initiatives and budgets. She previously served in several positions at the USDA and the White House.

• Jack Krumholtz has joined the Glover Park Group as a managing director in its government relations practice. Krumholtz previously served as Microsoft’s managing director and associate general counsel for 14 years. While at Microsoft, Krumholtz designed and implemented advocacy strategies around intellectual property, immigration reform, online privacy, competition in the software industry and international trade. He also represented the company in hearings before Congress and in the media, oversaw its philanthropic activities in the nation’s capital and strengthened its political action committee. Prior to his work with Microsoft, Krumholtz was a lobbyist at Verner, Liipfert, Bernhard, McPherson and Hand.

• Nicole Venable has joined the Bockorny Group as a lobbyist. Venable previously worked as a lobbyist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the firm McAllister & Quinn.
