Clinton raises $4 million online since Tuesday victories
Posted: 03/06/08 01:13 PM [ET]
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's (D-N.Y.) campaign said the former first lady has raised $4 million online since her primary victories in Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island Tuesday night.

The campaign said it has raised $6 million since the beginning of March, enjoying support from 40,000 donors since Tuesday, 30,000 of whom are new donors.

"The excitement from Sen. Clinton’s victories Tuesday night has resulted in an historic outpouring of grassroots support,” Peter Daou, Clinton's Internet director, said in a statement. “Hillary’s supporters have come through every time we’ve needed them, and they are setting a record pace now as we move ahead to the upcoming contests.”

Clinton has a big benchmark to follow after breaking her record for fundraising with a $35 million haul in February.
