Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) has come surging back in late reporting precincts in Missouri to pull the state from a projected win for Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) to too close to call. With 98 percent of precincts reporting, Obama now has a slight edge over Clinton, though not one large enough to ignore votes yet to be counted. Obama had been making up ground on Clinton in the closing weeks, but early in the night it seemed as though he had not gained enough. The New York Senator held a double-digit lead in the state in polls released as recently as a week ago. |
