Q: What outdoor activities do you like to do during the summer?

• Rep. Paul Hodes (D-N.H.): Walking, biking, kayaking, golf and sailing on the Contoocook River near my house. I also like to play golf at Beaver Meadow, which is the local public course. I am a golfer of the people.

• Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.): I’m a big walker. I ran for 30 years, but my knees gave way. But now I go swimming; we have a pool in our neighborhood and I go at least once a day.

• Rep. George Miller (D-Calif.): I go on a backpacking trip to the high country in Yosemite [National Park]. I’ve been going for 25 years with neighbors and friends.
