Engagements and births

Baby brigid: Justin Harclerode, Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Republican communications director, and his wife, Leigh Henry, an employee of the World Wildlife Fund, welcomed a second daughter last month.

Brigid Kathleen Harclerode was born Feb. 25 and weighed in at 7 pounds, 12 ounces and 20 inches long. Sister Maeve Moriarty will be 3 years old in July.

Job moves

A heavy hitter:  The Dallas-based plaintiff firm Baron and Budd PC has announced that the former head of the IRS, Margaret Milner Richardson, will work on a case-specific basis to represent those who report suspected tax fraud.

Richardson oversaw 100,000 employees in her role as commissioner of the IRS from 1993-1997. She worked closely with state and local tax administrators nationwide, championing improved tax administration and better taxpayer service.
