Five new winter cocktails at Firefly

Firefly, a Dupont neighborhood bar, presents a series of new cocktails being billed as falling into the “smart adult beverage” category.

The Warm Cosmo ($9.50) is made of Svedka vodka, triple sec, cranberry-apple tea, lime juice and clove-orange syrup and served warm with a twist. The Pomorita ($10) is described as the quintessential tequila libation made with Milagro tequila, Cointreau and homemade pomegranate sour mix.

The Montreal ($11.50) is a concoction of Woodford Reserve, Sortilege (a homemade blend of maple syrup and Canadian whiskey) and angostura bitters topped off with a maple-soaked cherry. Another new drink of the season is the Luxe Interior ($14), a brew of Miller’s gin, vintage port and bay-leaf syrup topped off with Luxe sparkling wine and garnished with a cluster of red grapes.

For dessert, the bar offers the Pumpkin Alexander ($11). It’s described as “pumpkin pie in a martini glass,” because it’s made with Martell cognac, Vya sweet vermouth, pumpkin pur
