George Allen spotted near Union Station

By Christina Wilkie - 06/30/10 08:04 PM ET

Spotted: Former Sen. George Allen (R-Va.), typing on his BlackBerry in the backseat of a Lincoln Town Car leaving Union Station.

In case anyone was confused as to who was in the car, a huge sign on the window said “ALLEN G.”

Allen, who lives in Mount Vernon, Va., is promoting his new book, What Washington Can Learn from the World of Sports. His father, George Herbert Allen, was an NFL Hall of Fame football coach.

Allen lost his Senate seat to Democrat Jim Webb in 2006.
