Feingold’s mystery woman

By Christina Wilkie - 06/30/10 08:14 PM ET

Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.) appears to have a love interest.

The lawmaker, who is single, was spotted strolling hand in hand around Capitol Hill with a mystery woman on Tuesday night.

The pair were seen just after 8 p.m. on a breezy summer night, walking north along Second Street NE behind the Library of Congress’s Jefferson Building and back toward the Senate side.

His companion was a trim, short-haired blonde who looked to be in her early 40s.

Feingold had changed out of his formal suit into a bluish polo shirt and khaki pants. The woman was wearing jeans and a blue T-shirt.

Feingold’s office declined to comment.
