Hillary Clinton has no love for the Kardashians

Heads up, Kardashian sisters: One of the planet’s most powerful women has your number, and she’s not a fan. 

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton this week used the three buxom Kardashian sisters, who star in the reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” as an example of an unfortunate American export. 

Speaking on Australian radio, Clinton told hosts Hamish and Andy that the “Kardashians [are] exactly” what’s not to like about American culture.

“If you look at American TV, as much of the rest of the world does,” Clinton said, “you would think we all went around wrestling and wearing bikinis. I mean, that’s what you would think we spend our entire day doing, right?”

The hosts chuckled in agreement. 

“So instead of viewing us as a caricature, a kind of reality-TV version of America,” she continued, “I think it’s important ... to be present to ... try to make some connections.”

To be fair, while there are plenty of bikinis on the Kardashians’ show, most of the reality-TV wrestling takes place on another reality phenomenon: MTV’s “Jersey Shore.”
