Bill Clinton to appear
in the movie ‘Hangover 2’

By Christina Wilkie - 11/15/10 08:34 PM ET

Former President Clinton filmed a cameo appearance Saturday in Thailand for the sequel to one of 2009’s most beloved comedies, “The Hangover.”

According to People magazine, “The Hangover 2” will feature Clinton playing himself alongside cast members of the original Las Vegas buddy flick: Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha.

Part of the sequel will be set in Bangkok, where Clinton was giving a speech over the weekend.

“The Hangover 2” recently made news on the casting front following the departure of Mel Gibson, who was scheduled to make a cameo appearance but was replaced by Liam Neeson following controversy in Gibson’s personal life.

“The Hangover” director Todd Phillips will return to helm the sequel, which has been tentatively pegged for release on Memorial Day weekend of 2011.
