House members: Direct your laser pointers downward

If you’ve ever thought that it might be fun to go outside and point a laser pointer at some airplanes, then you had better think again.

On Monday, the House passed H.R. 386, which would “require criminal penalties against people who point lasers at aircraft.” 

Laser pointers can interfere with an aircraft’s control system, a dangerous situation for pilots and passengers.
