Tribute to late staffer of Rep. Scott will be held Wednesday

Lawmakers and aides this week will pay tribute to Larry Dillard, the longtime press secretary to Rep. Robert “Bobby” Scott (D-Va.) who died earlier this year.

The ceremony will be held on Wednesday in 2172 Rayburn House Office Building between 5 and 7 p.m. Dillard, 59, passed away in April after becoming ill during a tour of Fort Monroe in Hampton, Va., with Scott and Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.).
