Actor Kevin Kline spotted on Capitol Hill

Hollywood’s Kevin Kline was spotted on the Senate side of Capitol Hill on Wednesday. The actor, who among other roles played the president in the movie “Dave,” paid a visit to Sen. Al Franken’s (D-Minn.) office to discuss juvenile diabetes research. 

Kline was with several Minnesotan advocates for the research, according to Franken spokesman Ed Shelleby. Both Kline, whose son was diagnosed with type-1 diabetes, and Franken have done work for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
