Sen. McConnell not jealous of Boehner and Obama’s golf outing

During a Christian Science Monitor breakfast, McConnell was asked, “How is your golf game?”

“I don’t have a golf game,” McConnell said, laughing. “Therefore, I was not offended not to be included.”

Asked on Wednesday what he and the president discussed during their round, BoehnerJohn BoehnerWounded Ryan faces new battle Bottom Line Trump, GOP fumble chance to govern MORE responded, “Golf.”

That’s it? Nothing on Libya or the debt-limit negotiations? Maybe a little chat about the ailing economy?

Nope.

“That was it — golf,” Boehner said.
