Corker coins his very own catchphrase

Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) appears to be trying to whip up a hit catchphrase, a la Charlie Sheen’s “winning” or Paris Hilton’s now-less-than-lukewarm motto, “That’s hot.”

While chatting with a gaggle of reporters outside the Senate chamber last week, Corker repeated the unique phrase “one tick too cute” three times in a seven-minute span. 

One example of Corker’s latest phrase craze came when discussing President Obama’s stance on the War Powers Act: “This is a case of [the Obama administration] trying to have their cake and eat it too, be one tick too cute.”

When it comes to his new favorite “too cute” phrase, Corker could be in danger of repeating it just one time too many.
