Bishop misses his TV mystery show

The suspense over passing a debt-limit bill caused one congressman to miss the suspense of one of his preferred TV programs. 

During an emergency late-night meeting of the Rules Committee last week, several lawmakers mentioned the late hour, hoping their colleagues would keep their comments brief.

But Rep. Rob Bishop (R-Utah) indicated he was in no rush, noting he had already missed “Masterpiece Mystery!” on PBS.

Whether Bishop was able to catch a recorded version of the show on TiVo remains a mystery.
