Mysterious photo cracks up Sens. McCain and Kerry

Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and John Kerry (D-Mass.) seemed to be sharing a laugh on Tuesday while sitting near each other for the Senate vote on the debt ceiling. 

The Arizona Republican showed Kerry a photo of some sort that prompted noticeable amusement from both lawmakers. 

But McCain kept coy when asked later by a group of reporters what he showed his colleague of more than 20 years.

“We’re old friends,” McCain said with a smile, before adding, “and we’re both losers.” Whatever you say, senator.
