‘Morning Joe’ host ‘so proud’ of older brother tapped by Obama

MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski is giving major props to her brother, Mark, for his nomination as ambassador to Sweden, saying, “I am so proud of him.”

The White House announced on Tuesday that President Obama plans to tap Brzezinski for the position.

Brzezinski, a partner at the law firm McGuireWoods in Washington, D.C., worked on the National Security Council in the Clinton administration. He also served as a foreign policy adviser to Obama during his presidential campaign.

Mark and Mika’s father, Zbigniew Brzezinski, served as national security adviser under former President Jimmy Carter.

Now that her brother might be taking on the new role, Mika Brzezinski could be getting her “Joe” jolt on the road and replacing “good morning” with “god morgon.”

She told ITK, “ ‘Morning Joe’ in Stockholm, here we come!”
