What do you get when you mix Washington’s power players, diplomats and journalists at the annual Meridian Ball? A whole batch of blind items.
The 43rd annual black-tie gala, billed as D.C.’s “premier international social event,” is held each year by the global leadership nonprofit Meridian International. Which ruler of the social scene was spotted fetching a drink for House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.)?
Who was the older local business tycoon who was seen getting down on the dance floor to LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem?”
What scribe told ITK a tale about their past life as an actor/actress playing minor roles in various ’90s teen TV dramas and movies?
Which former member of Congress was griping about how the TSA hassles the elderly at airports?
