‘Price is Right’ host pays visit to Capitol Hill

Bob Barker, come on down!

The longtime “Price is Right” host and animal-rights activist, known for instructing viewers at the end of each show to spay and neuter their pets, paid a visit to the Rayburn House Office Building on Wednesday.

Instead of naming the prizes for the Showcase Showdown, Barker joined Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.) to announce legislation aimed at restricting the use of exotic animals in traveling circuses.

Barker, 87, stepped down as host of the hit game show in 2007.
