Sen. McCain: Daughter thinks I’m a zombie

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) says there’s a pretty obvious reason his daughter, Meghan, enjoys watching “The Walking Dead,” AMC’s zombie-filled TV series: “Because she thinks her father is one! That’s where it springs from.

Meghan McCain, 27, posted a message on Twitter on Sunday praising the spooky show, writing, “Dad picked me up from the train station and now we’re watching ‘The Walking Dead.’ 

Everyone in my family loves zombies, what can I say?”

When asked what other programs the McCains love to catch on the small screen, the senior senator started going zombie-crazy, reciting scary cinematic titles at a spitfire pace: “Yeah, we watch ‘Walking Dead.’ You know, the movies — ‘Dawn of the Living Dead,’ ‘Night of the Living Dead,’ ‘Day of the Living Dead.’ ”

OK, we’re pretty sure only one of those is an actual zombie flick.
