New moustache for Weiner

Care for some hair with that Twitter scandal?

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) was spotted sporting a newly grown moustache over the weekend.

The New York Post espied the ex-congressman, who resigned in June after several lewd Twitter messages he sent to multiple women were exposed, doing some shopping in Manhattan on Friday.

Weiner wore a Mets cap and shades as he (and his facial hair) accompanied his pregnant wife, Huma Abedin, down a city street in New York’s SoHo neighborhood.

While Weiner’s new nose-whiskers resemble that of Hulk Hogan in shape, the thickness is closer to Clark Gable’s signature ’stache. 

But under-the-schnoz follicles don’t seem to do much good for politicians in New York’s 9th congressional district. Bob Turner, a clean-shaven Republican, won in a September special election for Weiner’s House seat. His opponent, Democrat David Weprin, was seen on the campaign trail with a bushy, dark-colored moustache.
