Gaming website picks Hillary Clinton over Bachmann and Santorum for president
A U.K. gaming website is betting that the odds of Hillary Clinton winning the 2012 presidential election are greater than some of the declared candidates.
While Paddy Power, an Irish bookmaker, is putting its money on President Obama winning reelection, at 10 to 11 odds, GOP candidates Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney both follow behind with 3-1 odds.
Hillary Clinton has a 40-1 shot of becoming the commander in chief in 2013. That’s ahead of, you know, some of the, like, actual candidates.
Clinton, who has said in interviews that she’s done pursuing elected office, comes out ahead of Republican presidential hopefuls Rick Santorum and Rep. Michele Bachmann (Minn.), who both are placed at 80 to 1.
But there’s another politician on whom gamblers can wager to win the election — and another who’s also not even running, at the moment. Vice President Biden has a one-in-a-hundred chance of being voted into the Oval Office, come November, according to the site.
